BDO's tax advisory team was processing complex Indian Customs electronic PDF forms — BOE, SBS, CBOE — at 80–89% extraction efficiency. The 11–20% gap translated into heavy manual correction, delayed client deliverables, and eroded margin on a high-volume process.
The system we built
A domain-specific TerraEdge AI document intelligence pipeline, with the core ML model customized to the three form types. Dedicated tech support layered in trend analysis and insights on top of extracted data — turning a back-office process into an analytics surface.
What this means commercially
For a high-volume tax advisory team, every percentage point of extraction efficiency translates directly to billable-margin protection.
